The product manager defines the features  necessary to deliver a product to market  while the product marketing manager is responsible for articulating tasks necessary to clearly explain the benefits of those features and translate them into customer-facing messaging.

They both have an impact on the company’s vision and go-to-market strategy. To get the best of their assets, a collaborative teamwork should be set up.
